Capping Skills and Multiple Elites
I think this may be a new thing but if you zone ANYWHERE with more than 1 elite (meaning you capped 1 in the previous zone) you lose your original elite. This used to occur when you zoned into a town. Now it happens when you zone anywhere.
Anyway, am I the only one who thinks that this is stupid? I zoned into grenths footprint with my monk after having capped peace and harmony in snakes dance and I lost my Word of Healing, leaving me crippled as far as healing goes and with a somewhat unhelpful skill. I thought it was a glitch but when i reported it to ANet they replied:

Thank you for again contacting the Guild Wars Support team on this. Yes, since you are only supposed to have one elite skill in your bar at a time, when you zone into a new area (town or explorable) if you have just captured a second elite, you will lose one. This is not a bug and is actually how the development team designed the game to function.

I really think that:
1. You should keep the elites until you zone into a TOWN
2. If you must lose an elite, it should be the one that you just capped so it doesn't affect your original build.

......all you have to do is look at your skillbar and re-equip the original elite if that's the one you want to use. It may be annoying sometimes, but hardly worth complaining over. If all you want is to run around with two elites all the time, then.........
(I've never had the new elite disappear out in the field when I zoned, so if this is new, then I must be very lucky.)

I noticed the Elite(s) that where on the highest skillslot number vanished. So just equip the elite you want to use in slot one - yes you will have a unused skillslot then but at least you have the elite remianing you want to use

Oh and falcon, I beleive this is new cause it had never happened to me until 2 days ago. I zoned into grenths from snakes and lost a skill which I couldn't replace because well, I wasn't in a town
I thought it was a glitch and complained but as you can see they say they want it this way...
